Luis: How much time do you spend planning for your videos?

TdashDub:
It really varies..where I work, I tend to have a lot of free time on my hands, so that's usually when I'll get the wheels turnin’ and I'll think out everything into detail. But if it's something that (to me) could be genius, I tend to rush things LOL. The Youtube Crush video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq-eHv7OiBo for example.. I've been flirting with the idea of making some sort of comedic music video since I began making videos for youtube, I've just been juggling around ideas back and forth, and finally the whole basis for the Crush song dawned on me and I wrote the song one day at work. Next day, I recorded it...then the day after, that is when I filmed it. (So rushed that I still hadn't memorized the lyrics - which explains the horrible lip syncing haha)

Luis: Do you write a scripts for your videos?

TdashDub: Yes and No. I think the best things come from improvisation and the only time I would/have ever wrote a script was if the project included more people than just I, ya dig?

Luis: I bet you get fan mails from the girls….from your subscribers?

TdashDub: Yes! haha and I LOVE it! I'm a HUGE attention whore, so ever since being featured - I've been eating it up. Haha - and I do try my best to respond to all of them as quick as I can. But ANYTHING that I've gotten out of this as far as feedback, messages, emails, and myspace friend requests go (lol) has been amazing!

Luis: Have you been in movies before? You look like Scott Speedman....

TdashDub: Unfortunately, No I haven't...although that won't be the answer for long! I've obsessed over the dream of being a A-List actor ever since I could possibly remember. In fact, as of right now I'm getting school out of the way, but next Summer (not this one) I plan on spending time in Hollywood to really get a feel for the city and even run through some open casting calls. So I'm really looking forward to that!

Luis: If you were to produce your own movie, who would you cast as your leading ladies ( pls name Hollywood and youtube stars) and why?

TdashDub: Hmmm..great question! As far as Hollywood goes, I'd probably aim for Kate Hudson or Scarlett Johansson, and as far as Youtube stars go..It'd be LisaNova and Taryn (HugsNKisses9713)..lol call me bias, but Taryn really does have an amazing amount of talent, more than she knows or would agree to.

Luis: I guess we know who your youtube crush is... why do you like her and have you hooked up with her?

TdashDub:
Haha Well, Taryn and I have actually BEEN talking about 3 weeks or so prior to the 'YouTube Crush' video, and honestly, I would have NEVER even fathomed the idea or basis for the video if it hadn't been for her. I've always been the one to laugh at someone liking, crushing, or falling for anyone over the internet - but regardless if you met her through youtube, myspace, the mall, theater, on a bus, a dating service, anything - It would be difficult to give her your full attention and NOT love her to death. And I think with the geographical difficulties (I live in Texas, she lives in Maryland) it's almost as if you have to rely more off of personality than anything physical (although she IS effing gorgeous beyond words haha) and it's just bright as day that she's one of the most genuine, down to earth, sweet, and just-as-beautiful-inside-than-she-is-out type of girl. And I don't care if it's in person or not, those are some of the hardest types to find.

Luis: Did you get excited when your youtube crush video became such a big hit?

TdashDub: Ha! I was ecstatic! When I found out, I was working - and I got a phone call from a good friend that I haven't spoken with in years, and he's like "Oh My God! So...I'm doing some research for class and I get bored and go to Youtube.com, and what do f**king see?!? T-DUB'S FACE ON THE FRONT PAGE!" Haha so I went nuts and probably scared off some customers.

See Taryn was aware that I was making a music video about Youtube, she just didn't know it was mainly about HER, and I even mentioned to her while everything was in the production process that I had a really good feeling about this project and sure enough..I was featured. :)

Luis: After all that, what you tube mean to you?

TdashDub: Ha..I think of youtube as like a HUGE viral college campus. You have tons and tons of people, some are a whole lot more popular than others, some are not even known, and just as you'd find drama within people in real life - you'd find within people over youtube (the 'Youtube Fueds'). Plus, I am aware there are a lot of politics and political pulls being made backstage of Youtube that happen or could occur living the busy, involved college life. LOL..just a little analogy - I've always thought of.
Other than that, I'd agree with the cliched answer that Youtube is like freedom of speech in a whole new other form.

Luis: What to you is vlogging?

TdashDub:
Haha one of those new other forms of freedom of speech! I think Vlogging is of course revolutionary in the sense of getting your stories, opinions and ideas out to the open. You can use vlogging as an advantage to get your point out and across to a huge audience and for attention whores such as myself, it's a great way to relieve those attention cravings =X

Luis: Who are you favorite youtubers?

TdashDub: HugsnKisses9713 (http://www.youtube.com/hugsnkisses9713)
--- for the obvious, haha

TokenBlackChic (http://www.youtube.com/tokenblackchic)
--- absolutely f*cking HILARIOUS, she's sweet and has the greatest sense of humor!

aaaand probably

sXePhil (http://www.youtube.com/sxephil)
--- Kind of reminds me of..me in some ways (of course hilarious)

Luis: I know you are aggressive in this part, how do you market yourself on youtube?

TdashDub: LOL, well, I guess in an oxymoron kind of way, I market myself in a way of not marketing myself? If that makes any sense. Everything I've publicly posted up in a campaigning sort of way has been satire or just me being (or trying to be) funny/dumb. But if I were to sum up my work and/or style, I'd probably say that I'm just trying to put out hilarious and original work to breathe some air back into the YouTube game, Ya Knam'sayin?? :-) .......oh and did I say Sexy and Well Endowed???...Yeah, add that in the marketing tools too.

Luis: Keep up the good work my friend… keep on making us smile and laugh…congrats!
